Eko Software and NACON unveil a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, entering Steam Early Access. The early access launch on March 6th, 2025, will encompass the prologue and first chapter, playable with three distinct heroes: Knight, Oracle, and Barbarian. Players will also encounter four Vermplings – cooperative companions – and engage with the innovative Bloodline Grid skill system, endgame hunts, and initial hub city improvements. A demo is available now through March 3rd, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest.
A robust post-launch roadmap is planned. Spring updates will introduce new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will see a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update will be a significant milestone, introducing multiplayer functionality alongside continued refinement of the Bloodline Grid and hub city.
Dragonkin: The Banished plunges players into a world tainted by ancient dragon blood. Players guide a legendary warrior, battling monstrous creatures and confronting the Dragonlords responsible for the chaos. Character progression hinges on character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic Bloodline Grid system for ability customization.
The full release of Dragonkin: The Banished is slated for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S following the Early Access period.
