Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, is now live and it's the game's biggest season yet! This season brings a wealth of new content that truly revolutionizes the gameplay, inviting you to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The highlight of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city that you'll manage. You'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and transform them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five professions. This not only unlocks new trade routes and bonuses but also grants you access to exclusive seasonal rewards, blending ARPG combat with a strategic simulation experience.
The character Thea, previously known as a divine channeler, has taken a darker turn and is now called the Blasphemer. She no longer bestows blessings but instead spreads desecration, dealing escalating Erosion Damage that becomes more potent over time.
The Deep Space region has undergone a significant transformation with five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been introduced. Similar to Compasses, Probes occupy a unique slot and enhance both the rewards and the difficulty level of your adventures.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience is enriched with the addition of new Legendary Stages. These stages are rare but highly rewarding, offering loot setups that can completely change your approach to the game.
Some zones are breaking the mold, such as the Abyssal Vault, which is devoid of enemies and instead filled with Mystery Chests ready to be opened. Conversely, the Sea of Rites introduces a swarm of non-aggressive goblins. Defeating them can summon a secret boss, adding an element of surprise and strategy.
The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to use it. A well-timed hit can turn enemies into treasure, adding a thrilling twist to combat.
