Reaching Bloodmoon Island in Divinity: Original Sin 2
Bloodmoon Island, shrouded in Deathfog and with its connecting bridge destroyed, presents a challenge. This guide details methods to overcome this obstacle and access the island's quests and storyline advancements.
Method 1: The Spirit Bridge
The ruined bridge northeast of Cloisterwood, near Jahan and Witch Alice, offers a path. Using Spirit Vision reveals the broken sections. Crossing requires:
- Gloves of Teleportation: Teleport each party member individually.
- Translocation Skills: Utilize skills like Phoenix Dive, Cloak and Dagger, or Tactical Retreat. Note: Not all companions possess these.
- Teleporter Pyramids: Two pyramids are needed. One companion uses translocation, places a pyramid, then the rest teleport.
- Fast Travel: A companion with translocation reaches the island waypoint, enabling the rest to fast travel.
Method 2: The Undead Ferry
Located northwest of Cloisterwood, an undead ferryman offers passage. However, this is deceptive.
- With Fane: Only Fane (being undead and Deathfog-immune) survives the crossing. He establishes the waypoint, allowing others to fast travel.
- Without Fane: Use two Teleporter Pyramids. One companion takes the ferry (dying upon arrival), then the others teleport using the second pyramid and revive the fallen companion. This method is less efficient than the bridge.
Important Considerations:
- Avoid attacking the Undead Ferryman unless you've saved your game. He retaliates with a potentially lethal Deathfog spell. Defeating him yields a Soothing Cold skillbook, a belt, and 3,750 XP.
- If Fane isn't in your party, the bridge is the recommended route.
