Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Reaching the Garbage zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl requires venturing far from your starting base. Accessing key traders within this area isn't immediate; story progression is necessary. The Slag Heap, a central hub, becomes accessible after completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest. This questline directs you to the Detention Center and the Laboratory before a meeting with Scar, ultimately leading you to the Slag Heap. While the game guides you there later, feel free to explore this location north of the laboratory earlier in your playthrough.

The Slag Heap features two primary traders:

• Boozer: Located at the entrance, Boozer runs a bar and offers food and drinks. He's also a convenient vendor for selling various items.

• Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and equipment. His room also serves as your stash, allowing you to store extra belongings. Interacting with Huron also initiates a side quest.

While not a trader, a Tech is located at the back of the left corridor. This interaction is crucial for progressing the main quest, as you must speak with Diode.
