Love, Death + Robots Vol 4 Teaser Trailer

5 ImagesNetflix has tantalizingly released a teaser trailer that packs a visual punch typical of Love, Death + Robots, hinting at a slew of delightfully bizarre concepts. In just a minute of footage, we caught glimpses of:

  • An epic space battle or disaster unfolding
  • A rocking puppet band that's sure to get your head nodding
  • The aforementioned adult toy, now with giant eyes and crafted in claymation
  • A priest strolling alongside an alien sporting tentacles on a serene beach
  • A tormented woman, possibly bionic, accompanied by an adorable fuzzball
  • Massive, intimidating babies that could give anyone the creeps
  • Dinosaurs clashing in a thrilling showdown
  • An alien invasion brought to life through intricate miniatures
  • A cat, seemingly disgusted and playing the role of a voyeur

Deadpool director Tim Miller and Seven and The Social Network director David Fincher are executive producers on this series. Jennifer Yuh Nelson, known for her work on Kung Fu Panda 2 and Shrek Forever After, returns as the supervising director.

"If the legacy of Love, Death + Robots is that there are a handful, fifteen people, ten years from now who became directors or became animators or became motion capture performers or doing voice work because they were such big Love, Death + Robots fans, that's all I care about right now," Fincher shared in a 2022 interview with Collider.

"This show was never going to pay for your Gulf Stream. You're either here because you want to be here or you're not here. We're hoping desperately to get to waste more of our lives toiling in obscurity," he added, emphasizing the passion behind the project.
