Sony Pictures has set the stage for an exciting cinematic experience with the announcement of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. The news broke during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they also revealed securing worldwide theatrical distribution rights, excluding Japan, to bring this thrilling adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s acclaimed work to global audiences this fall. US viewers can mark their calendars for late October, while over 80 countries will witness its premiere on September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release starting September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, marking it as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This alliance grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, propelling him into the role of the formidable Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the story.
