Although DC has released several Hush-related storylines since the original concluded, Batman: Hush 2 marks the first time the original creative team has come back together. The sequel brings back writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee, joined by inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings. This collaboration promises to recapture the magic that made the initial series so beloved.
Hush 2 picks up from the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition. In this new chapter, the Dark Knight uncovers evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their last confrontation, setting the stage for a gripping new mystery. As Hush weaves his web, he manipulates Batman's circle of allies and enemies, creating a complex and thrilling narrative.
Hush 2 will be serialized in Batman #158-163, with the first issue, Batman #158, hitting stores on March 26. Following this, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, ushering in a new era for the Dark Knight under the guidance of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
