Crashlands 2 has just launched its latest major update, version 1.1. Developer Butterscotch Shenanigans delivered this update in response to player challenges and numerous features that fans of the original Crashlands have been eager to see return.
What's New in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode, an even tougher challenge than the existing Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are faster, deal more damage, and boast enhanced health pools, while protagonist Flux Dabes has become more vulnerable than ever.
While there are no additional achievements specifically for completing this mode, successfully conquering it will automatically unlock all lower-difficulty achievements as your reward.
For players who prefer a more relaxed experience, the new Explorer Mode allows you to peacefully gather mushrooms, construct charming homes, and go fishing without constant fear of being attacked.
This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, letting you fully immerse yourself in the storyline, design your base, and enjoy interactions with Crashlands 2's unique and memorable characters.
The most significant addition is the return of The Compendium system. Developers clearly listened to community feedback following the game's launch. The Compendium meticulously tracks every discovery Flux makes, including the remaining pets, recipes, and items needed to complete your collection.
Enhanced Pet System
With Crashlands 2's Update 1.1, pets now actively participate in combat. Each companion also features a unique special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds.
Gear crafting now offers greater variety, with randomly generated bonus stats appearing on newly crafted armor. The update also introduces numerous new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets.
Quality-of-life improvements are plentiful throughout update 1.1. Players can now build on more terrain types, customize their home teleporter location, and adjust nighttime darkness levels.
Download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store. Since its initial release on April 10th, this substantial patch demonstrates the development team's commitment to addressing player feedback.
