How To Get Costume Minccino in Pokemon GO

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: costumed Minccino and Cinccino!

When is Costumed Minccino Available?

Costumed Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These stylish Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Costumed Minccino has a shiny variant, unlike its evolution, Cinccino. The event also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms in the wild and Raids.

How to Catch Costumed Minccino:

Unfortunately, obtaining costumed Minccino isn't straightforward. It's available through two methods:

One-Star Raids:

Costumed Minccino appears in One-Star Raids during the event. These are generally soloable, but you might need to check several Gyms as other Pokémon like costumed Shinx and Furfrou also appear in these raids.

Paid Timed Research:

A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket unlocks a Timed Research with XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and guaranteed encounters with costumed Minccino. Completing the research tasks ensures you'll catch at least one.

Field Research Tasks:

While Field Research tasks offer event-themed Pokémon encounters, Niantic hasn't specified if costumed Minccino is included. It's less likely to be freely available compared to the paid option.

Obtaining Costumed Cinccino:

To get a costumed Cinccino, evolve your costumed Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
