Clash Royale Rolls Out Skeleton Army Evolution and a Partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant

Clash Royale is embracing a spookier and more emotional vibe this season.

The game is launching Season 76 with a host of exciting new features. First on the list is the Skeleton Army Evolution, introducing innovative gameplay mechanics to Clash Royale.

What exactly does the Skeleton Army Evolution bring to Clash Royale?

The Skeleton Army Evolution introduces General Gerry to Clash Royale. He’s a shielded commander who keeps his skeleton troops in action even after they fall in battle.

When his soldiers die, they rise again as invisible, indestructible ghosts—lasting until Gerry is defeated. This Evolution activates every two cycles, delivering some of the most intense and dynamic swarm combat mechanics yet.

Alongside it, the Royal Ghost Evolution is also making its debut. This version allows the spectral warrior to summon two ghostly allies known as Souldiers. These eerie companions have the health of regular Skeletons but deal damage equal to their commander. Like him, they vanish a few seconds after their attack.

The season, named Rock & Role, runs through October 2025 and features two brand-new Evolutions, fresh cosmetics, and a flood of in-game rewards. The Rock Tower Skin becomes available at Tier 10, along with new emotes, the Golden Name, Premium Clan Gifts, and Free Challenge Rejoins.

From October 6th to 13th, players can participate in the Skeleton Army Evolution Draft. This is followed by a Challenge event from October 10th to 13th, offering a new Battle Banner and Emote. Multiple new evolution-themed emotes are also unlocked for both Skeleton Army and Royal Ghost.

The season also brings a surprising collaboration!

It’s a first-of-its-kind partnership between Supercell, actor William H. Macy, and NHS Blood and Transplant. The campaign invites players to ‘pledge their bones’ to the Skeleton Army, cleverly linking the game’s undead theme to the real-world mission of organ donation.

A short promotional video features Macy, who humorously urges players to become donors. If you take a moment to learn about organ donation through the Clash Royale Store, you can earn a free in-game badge. For more details, watch the new promotional video below.

This collaboration marks the first time NHS Blood and Transplant has joined forces with a video game. If you’re ready to support this noble cause, head over to the Google Play Store and explore the campaign in-game.
