Firaxis Games unveiled the post-launch roadmap for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII during a recent livestream. The roadmap details substantial updates planned throughout 2025, including several DLC pack collections featuring new Leaders, Civilizations, and Natural Wonders. Alongside paid DLC, free content will be released via patches and in-game events.

The first paid DLC, the Crossroads of the World Collection, is a two-part release. Part one (early March) includes Leader Ada Lovelace, four Natural Wonders, and the Carthage and Great Britain civilizations. Part two (late March) adds Leader Simon Bolivar and the Bulgaria and Nepal civilizations. March will also see the release of free content: a Natural Wonder Battle event and the Bermuda Triangle Natural Wonder in early March, followed by the Marvelous Mountains event and Mount Everest Natural Wonder in late March.

Later in the year, the Right Rule Collection (summer release) will introduce two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four New World Wonders. Additional free content and updates are planned from April through September. Firaxis promises further post-launch support from October 2025 onwards.
