Square Enix Japan commemorated the occasion through an official X (Twitter) post, describing it as "a masterpiece that defies generations." This iconic RPG was born from the collaboration of gaming legends: Yuji Horii (Dragon Quest), Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball), and Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy).
Square Enix announced, "To celebrate the 30th anniversary and show appreciation to all Chrono Trigger players, we're preparing a series of special projects throughout the coming year that will expand beyond the game's universe."
