The Bug Out event is making its exciting return to Pokémon Go, set to run from March 26th to 30th. This event introduces fans to Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch, while offering a host of Bug-type Pokémon encounters, raids, bonuses, and new challenges.
Lure Modules will be key during the Bug Out event. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but activating a single Lure Module at a PokéStop and catching enough Pokémon will boost the number of Pokémon appearing there.
Players can look forward to earning double XP and additional Candy for Nice Throws or better, with an increased chance of obtaining Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will be thrilled with improved odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede.
The wild will be bustling with Bug-types, featuring frequent appearances from Pokémon such as Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep an eye out for the rare Cutiefly.
Sizzlipede will be available in one-star raids, joined by Scyther and Nincada, while three-star raids will feature Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will reward players with Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.
Don’t miss out on the free Timed Research, which includes encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, along with a Lure Module. For those seeking additional rewards, a Paid Timed Research option is available for $2 (or the local equivalent), offering encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, as well as two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module.
New Collection Challenges will provide Stardust, XP, and Pokémon encounters, while PokéStop Showcases will spotlight event-themed Pokémon. Be sure to check out the in-game shop for the new Sizzlipede Boots and Scolipede Jacket.
