Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues! Part two is live, offering fresh cosmetic goodies.
The in-game shop boasts new Blastoise-themed items: a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat. These, alongside the usual Shinedust exchange, are available until January 28th. However, don't delay! Event tickets stop dropping on January 22nd.
Following the holiday season's generous Pack Hourglasses and free booster giveaways, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster packs and eagerly anticipate the next expansion (rumored for late January). The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will work in future expansions has fueled player hoarding.
This Blastoise event provides a renewed incentive for daily logins. The new cosmetic rewards add to the existing Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover art from the first part (which started January 6th and introduced Squirtle and Charmander promo cards with unique artwork). Event missions, earned through Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire/Water-type cards, yield Event Shop Tickets. Bonus Picks also award these tickets. All missions from both event parts are cumulative.
Remember, these promo cards are reportedly non-tradable, emphasizing daily logins to secure them. The event's second part runs until January 22nd, with the shop open until January 28th.
