"Black Ops 6 Unveils Zombies Mode Updates for Season 2"

Exciting updates are on the way for *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* Zombies fans with the arrival of Season 2. Among the most anticipated additions is the long-requested co-op pause feature, allowing players in the same party to pause the game together. Whether it's to regroup during an intense round or simply take a quick break, this change brings added convenience and teamwork to high-stakes Zombies sessions. Alongside this comes AFK Kick Loadout Recovery, which ensures that if a player gets disconnected due to inactivity, they can rejoin the match without losing their original loadout—including weapons, perks, and progress. This enhancement aims to reduce frustration and keep gameplay smooth, especially during extended rounds where every advantage counts.

Another major improvement coming to both multiplayer and Zombies is the ability to set separate HUD presets for each mode. No more toggling settings back and forth—customize your ideal interface for Zombies and switch seamlessly to your preferred layout for competitive multiplayer. Additionally, Season 2 introduces improved challenge tracking functionality, enabling players to manually track up to 10 Calling Card Challenges and 10 Camo Challenges per mode. The system will also display near-completion challenges in available slots, helping players identify and complete those final steps with ease. These tracked challenges will appear directly in the lobby and within the options menu, keeping progression goals front and center.

The full Season 2 update for *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* goes live on January 28, 2025, bringing these quality-of-life improvements alongside new content like the Tomb map and other enhancements across both Zombies and multiplayer. With these changes, Treyarch continues to refine the experience for all types of players—from casual co-op enthusiasts to hardcore completionists.
