Happy New Year! Welcome to 2025! Another year, another orbit around that giant ball of fire we call the sun. Let's dive into the biggest game releases of 2025!
January 2025

January 17th sees the return of Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the first mainline entry since 2018. Expect current-gen visuals and the satisfying spectacle of mowing down hordes of enemies—it's time to yell "DIE, NASTY WARRIORS!" again! Available on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC.
Prefer a more… precise approach to eliminating foes? On January 30th, Sniper Elite: Resistance continues its tradition of long-range, uh, creative eliminations of Nazis. This entry refines the formula, focusing on what fans love: shooting Nazis in the… well, you get the picture. Available on all Xboxes, PlayStations, and PC.
February 2025

Is this real life? Is this fantasy? Neither, but it is a bohemian rhapsody! Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continues Henry of Skalitz's adventures in 14th-century Bohemia. Expect immersive historical simulation, deep RPG mechanics, and a massive open world. Launching February 11th on current-gen consoles and PC.
Also on February 11th, Sid Meier's Civilization VII arrives. Need we say more? Explore, Expand, Exploit… and Exterminate (as needed). Available on virtually every platform except mobile (for now).
February 14th brings Assassin's Creed Shadows, taking the series to feudal Japan. Play as both a ninja and a samurai—the best of both worlds! Available on current-gen and PC.
Feeling lonely on Valentine's Day? Date Everything! offers a sandbox dating sim with 100+ anthropomorphic inanimate objects to romance. Available on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Switch, and PC.

February 18th sees Obsidian's Avowed hit Xbox Series consoles and PC. A first-person RPG set in the Pillars of Eternity universe, expect action combat and a more focused experience than a typical epic fantasy RPG.
Speaking of epic adventures, February 21st brings Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. Goro Majima, amnesiac pirate. Enough said. Available on Xboxes, PlayStations, and PC.
And finally, on February 28th, the behemoth that is Monster Hunter Wilds launches for Xbox Series, PS5, and PC. Capcom aims to refine the core experience while adding new features and broader accessibility.

March 25th: Embrace the cozy life in Tales of the Shire, a life sim focusing on ordinary hobbit life in Middle-earth. Available on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, Switch, and PC.

Prefer post-apocalyptic pastoral life? Atomfall, with its Fallout/Stalker influences, arrives March 27th on all platforms except Switch.
Also on March 27th, The First Berserker: Khazan, a single-player action RPG based on the Dungeon Fighter Online universe, hits Xboxes, PlayStations, and PC.
