"Battle Crush Early-Access Beta Now Live on Switch, Steam, Mobile"

Author : Chloe May 14,2025

The mythology-inspired MOBA, Battle Crush, has now entered early access, bringing a fresh, family-friendly twist to the genre with elements reminiscent of Super Smash Bros. Available on mobile, Nintendo Switch, and Steam, this game invites players to engage in thrilling battles with a diverse roster of 15 characters known as 'Calixers.' These characters draw inspiration from mythological and folkloric figures, with the intriguing exception of dinosaurs, all vying to be the last one standing.

If we were to encapsulate Battle Crush in a nutshell, we'd liken it to an all-ages version of Smite. While this comparison simplifies the game's essence, it does capture how Battle Crush blends traditional MOBA mechanics with the dynamic, fast-paced action of platform fighters. This mix makes it particularly well-suited for mobile gaming, though it might not satisfy hardcore League of Legends enthusiasts who crave more complex controls.

Battle Crush Gameplay

We had the opportunity to go hands-on with Battle Crush previously, and our overall impression was positive but with room for improvement. We felt that while it's definitely worth playing, it might benefit from further development to truly stand out in the crowded MOBA market. As it progresses through early access, it will be interesting to see how it evolves.

Crushing the Competition

Battle Crush launches with three engaging game modes: Battle Royale, a familiar format where players fight to be the last one standing; a 3v3 Brawl for team-based action; and a 1v1 Duel mode for those who prefer one-on-one challenges. A standout feature is the full cross-play support across all platforms, ensuring that your progress seamlessly transfers whether you're playing on mobile, Switch, or Steam.

Battle Crush is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
