Battle Crush Announces EOS Just Few Months After Early Access Launch

NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush, much sooner than anticipated. The game, which only recently had an early access release in June 2024 following a global test in August 2023, is set to shut down.

Battle Crush Shutdown Date:

The official shutdown date is November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been halted, but refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024. Refund requests for Android and Steam players can be submitted between December 2nd, 2024, and January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media and Discord servers will close on January 31st, 2025.

An Unexpected Closure:

The sudden announcement of Battle Crush's EOS is disappointing for players. While enjoyable, the game reportedly suffered from less-than-polished gameplay, with some describing the controls as clunky and the pacing uneven. These issues likely contributed to the decision to end service.

Players can still access the game on the Google Play Store before the November 29th shutdown. For those seeking a new gaming experience, consider checking out our upcoming coverage of Black Desert Mobile's autumn season featuring story-driven quests.
