ARK Mobile Unveils Genesis Part 2 with New Biomes & Creatures

ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition has released its Genesis Part 2 expansion, concluding the story it began with Part 1 in June. This update picks up right where the last one left off. Read on for all the details.

A vast new world

You awaken on the massive Genesis colony ship, once again met by your AI guide, HLN-A. From there, you are thrust into a final showdown with the corrupted Sir Edmund Rockwell.

The expansion introduces an enormous new map aboard the Genesis Ship, which is divided into two massive rings. The right ring, known as Eden, is a vibrant, green landscape teeming with classic wildlife and terrain.

The left ring is a Corrupted Zone, saturated with a sinister purple glow and inhabited by grotesque, mutated creatures under Rockwell's sway. Separating them is the perilous Space biome, a field of asteroids that shift and change after hyperspace events.

Players will discover new story missions and diverse biomes. Explore locations like the tranquil waterfalls and plateaus of the Eden Zone or the hostile, twisted regions of the Corrupted Gardens, a testament to Rockwell's experiments.

The Maewing serves as both a nurturing companion and a speedy glider. Noglins can mind-control enemies, turning them against each other. The nimble, space-faring Astrodelphis stands in contrast to the powerful robotic Stryder.

The Shadowmane can turn invisible, Voidwyrms present a new aerial threat, and the Summoner can call in reinforcements during fights. The expansion also rewards players with powerful Tek-tier gear and loot.

Genesis Part 2 is a free update for ARK Pass subscribers. Otherwise, it can be purchased separately for $9.99. You can download ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition from the Google Play Store.
