Apple Arcade's August update is here, featuring three significant additions, including a Vision Pro-compatible title. While smaller than some previous updates, the quality is undeniable.
Leading the charge is Vampire Survivors+, a highly acclaimed bullet-hell game that redefined the genre. Though not the first of its kind on mobile, its excellence is unquestionable. Vampire Survivors+ launches August 1st.
Next up is Temple Run: Legends, a fresh take on the classic endless runner. This iteration introduces a compelling storyline, character progression, and over 500 levels, alongside the traditional endless mode. Also arriving August 1st.
Lastly, Castle Crumble receives a significant upgrade. Already an Apple Arcade staple, this new version leverages the Apple Vision Pro for an immersive, spatially aware experience, bringing the physics-based destruction directly into your field of view.
A Strong Showing for Apple Arcade
This month's update, though modest in number, delivers substantial value. A BAFTA-winning game, a reinvigorated classic, and further Vision Pro support make it a compelling release.
