Alchemy Stars: Offline Mode Incoming, Server Shutdown on January 24th, 2025
Tencent and Level Infinite recently announced the upcoming closure of Alchemy Stars' online services. Launched in June 2021, the mobile game will transition to an offline-only version on January 24th, 2025. This means players can still enjoy the game's story and gameplay, but online features will cease.
Server Shutdown and Offline Transition:
The game's online servers will officially shut down on January 24th, 2025, at 4:00 GMT. Before this date, a crucial update (version 1.43.0) will be released on January 10th, between 4:00 and 9:00 GMT. This update introduces a local data save feature, allowing players to preserve their progress.
Saving Your Game Data:
It's vital to update to version 1.43.0 and save your game data before January 24th, 4:00 GMT. A dedicated save button will be available on the main menu. While multiple saves are permitted, any unsaved data will be lost permanently after the shutdown. The offline version will not be available for download after January 24th, and deleting the app will render it irretrievable.
Offline Version Capabilities:
The offline version will allow players to access their saved data, replay the story, and upgrade units. However, no further updates will be released.
This offline transition offers a better alternative to a complete game shutdown. Players are encouraged to download the game from the Google Play Store before the online services end.
