AFK Journey has officially revealed its inaugural crossover event, and it's arriving soon! The game is poised to become significantly more magical, without a doubt. This first crossover brings together AFK Journey and the beloved Japanese manga series, Fairy Tail, created by Hiro Mashima.
Who Is Featured in the AFK Journey and Fairy Tail Collaboration?
The event introduces two of Fairy Tail's most legendary characters: Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. They will join the adventure as part of the new Dimensional faction.
Natsu has been confirmed as an S-tier hero, which aligns perfectly with his fiery, 'burn-it-all' personality. Lucy, meanwhile, will be an A-tier hero. Naturally, obtaining Natsu will likely be more challenging, while Lucy should be easier to acquire.
Their specific in-game roles or classes are yet to be detailed. However, the inclusion of these special characters is certain to inject fresh excitement into the game. It will be fascinating to see how they integrate with existing factions and potentially influence the competitive landscape.
Launch Date for the Crossover Event
The AFK Journey x Fairy Tail collaboration is set to launch on Android devices on May 1st, 2025. The developers have not announced the event's duration. They have, however, released an exhilarating trailer. Why not watch it right here?
Unlike its predecessor AFK Arena, AFK Journey is a 3D open-world RPG. Therefore, experiencing iconic Fairy Tail characters brought to life in full 3D, rather than as static anime-style portraits, is a feature players are sure to appreciate.
