Microsoft has confirmed the list of games that will be removed from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. A total of eight titles are scheduled to leave, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.
Xbox Game Pass is an online gaming service for Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can stream games directly on smart devices and consoles, play new releases on day one (depending on their subscription tier), and access a library of hundreds of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. The following eight games are being removed from that cloud-enabled catalog.

Microsoft is expected to announce the second wave of Game Pass additions for May 2025 shortly after these games exit the service.
Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members received a new benefit: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them.
This update was shared in an Xbox Wire post, confirming that Ultimate members can now stream titles from the Game Pass catalog, as well as select owned games, to their Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming. While this feature was already available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, its introduction to consoles is a first.
If today's announcement that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed to May 2026 makes you want to revisit GTA 5, remember that GTA 5 Enhanced is now available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. The PC release is particularly noteworthy, as it marks the game's debut on the PC Game Pass service.
