The Brain Scorcher, a landmark in the Stalker universe, also appears in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. A Tamper-Proof Stash, secured within a warehouse, presents a puzzle – a locked door seemingly defying entry. However, a clever route exists, involving a bit of parkour across the Brain Scorcher itself. Here's how to access it:
Accessing the Brain Scorcher Warehouse
Locate the Brain Scorcher in Stalker 2's Malachite region (north). The Tamper-Proof Stash will be marked on your map, leading you to a warehouse with a locked door. This isn't the intended entrance.
Follow these steps:
- Circle the warehouse to the left, ascending the orange stairs to a stack of boxes.
- Use the boxes to leap over the containers to the right, reaching the next container cluster.
- Jump over the crane on your right, continuing to the far side.
- Drop down onto the containers below, navigating a zigzag path to a rear warehouse opening.
Inside the warehouse, be cautious of trip mines guarding the Tamper-Proof Stash. Carefully disarm them as you approach the front.
Looting the Stash and Exiting
Once at the front, loot the already-unlocked Tamper-Proof Stash – a large safe containing valuable ammo, medkits, and consumables. Exiting requires a bit more work.
To open the locked warehouse door, go right from the power panel, proceeding further down the warehouse. You'll find a generator amidst boxes; activate it to restore power. Return to the power panel near the entrance and flip the switch to unlock the door, allowing your exit.
