Argenia, a land teeming with countless nations, is experiencing a tumultuous transition from the medieval age to a new, magically-infused era. Following a devastating war, an uneasy peace prevails, but the threat of renewed hostilities remains ever-present.
Enter Eldia, a global task force central to the narrative. Their mission: to prevent the misuse of these powerful ancient weapons and machines, ensuring they don't trigger another catastrophic war. Eldia meticulously researches, monitors, and controls access to these potent ruins.
Gameplay:
Eldgear features a strategic turn-based combat system. While the core battles are relatively straightforward, the underlying mechanics add a layer of depth. Key features include:
- EMA (Embedding Abilities): Equip three abilities per unit, allowing for versatile combinations of stat boosts and tactical maneuvers like Stealth or bodyguard functions.
- EXA (Expanding Abilities): Unleash devastating special attacks by maximizing your Tension during combat.
- GEAR Machines: Mysterious and powerful machines, some benevolent guardians, others dangerous foes, add intrigue and challenge.
