The game unfolds on a misty, ominous night in Twin Lakes, a town where the strange and surreal are commonplace. Players control Detective Francis McQueen and his endearingly inept partner, Officer Patrick Dooley, as they navigate the underfunded Darkside Division of the Twin Lakes Police Department. Nine unique cases await, each a bite-sized mystery within the hilarious and bizarre world of The Darkside Detective and its equally witty sequel.

The game is a playful homage to pop culture, brimming with references to classic horror films, sci-fi shows, and buddy cop movies.
